Apehl to bring together Lugo’s hospitality sector next Monday in Ribadeo for its annual gala
09.04.2026. The Provincial Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of Lugo (Apehl) will hold its Provincial Hospitality Gala next Monday, April 13, at the Voar restaurant in Ribadeo, with catering provided by Eventos Mesón de Alberto.
During the event, Apehl will present the “Lifetime Achievement in the Kitchen” awards, which this year recognize the careers of Áurea Rodríguez Toirán, from Restaurante Río Loyo (Paradela); José Manuel Fontal Vázquez (Pepe), from Hotel Roma (Sarria); Jesús Galdo Sánchez, from Val do Naseiro (Viveiro); and Ramón Álvarez López.
The event will be attended by María José Gómez, Regional Minister for Rural Affairs; Xosé Merelles, Director of Tourism of Galicia; Carmela López, President of the Lugo Provincial Council; and the Mayor of Ribadeo, Daniel Vega. Mayors from A Mariña, institutional representatives, members of protected designations of origin and geographical indications, as well as suppliers and professionals from the sector, will also be present.
The gala is a key event in Apehl’s annual calendar, held each year in a different location across the province and, on this occasion, taking place in the town of Ribadeo.
